Family Services Coordinator: x. 283
Marney Toole is a pediatric nurse and bring years of child development and parenting experience to her work. She facilitates a number of discussion groups including Baby’s First Year, Adoptive Family Gathering, Adoptive Parent Discussion, and NICU Experience. She coordinates the Warmlines for pregnancy loss and Infertility concerns. She consults with families on the telephone and meets with them in a variety of settings including the family home to discuss concerns about child development and parenting strategies. She also does program planning, edits the newsletter, coordinates outreach and media contacts, maintains the database, coordinates the quarterly reports to funders, oversees program evaluation, and represents the Martha’s Vineyard Family Network/Family Center at statewide and regional meetings.

Family Center Coordinator: x. 288
Jennifer McHugh sets up the activities and play areas of the Family Center. She coordinates the Family Center calendar, oversees the cleaning and upkeep of the Family Center, takes registrations for most Family Network events, facilitates playgroups, and is the staff liaison to the PAC. As well as preparing much of the quarterly reports to funders, she organizes child care for on site programming and can arrange transportation to events. She also facilitates The Infant Story Time at The West Tisbury Public Library With her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, she is a resource on both child development and parenting strategies.

Program Director, Early Childhood Programs x. 281
Debbie Milne has overall responsibility for program quality, compliance with contractual requirements, and staff support for all the Early Childhood Programs at MV Community Services. She oversees the MVCS Daycare Center, Head Start, Family Daycare System, Visitation Program, and the Family Network/Family Center. It is due to Debbie’s vision and commitment to quality that MVCS received the initial Family Network grant. Her guidance and leadership maintain the high program standards that have resulted in the renewing of the Family Network and Family Center grants. Debbie has a BS in Early Childhood and an MA in Leadership Training.
